They run a little big, so if you pick one up and you need to exchange it (sorry small is the smallest we could get) - just contact us and we’ll work with you.

Breast Cancer Shirt

September 30th, 2008

Tickled Pink

After much debate, head scratching, communicating with printers, and some more debate we decided on printing the Breast Cancer Awareness shirt first. The main driving factor behind the choice to print this shirt first was to have it on hand for the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We placed the order this afternoon and should hopefully have them ready to ship by the middle of October. We’ll be donating 15% of the sales to a breast cancer organization. I’ve contacted the Breast Cancer Foundation about using their name and logo. If they say yes then we’ll donate to them. There are many great organizations, local and national. Brett Favre’s wife has a great organization that helps provide treatment to those that can’t afford to get it on their own. If we can raise enough money we can spread it out, every little bit helps.

Hopefully by November we’ll be printing our second shirt. It would be great to have a third one printed by December. This way you’ll have 3 to choose from in time for Christmas. I’m sure everyone on your list would love an FNA Cotton t-shirt for Christmas, I know I do.

So wether you Twitter, Facebook, or follow RSS feeds be sure to follow, join our group, or bookmark our feed for updates to find out when new shirts are available - you may even get a super sweet deal for ordering early.

T-shirt printing to begin soon

September 22nd, 2008

We think we’re going to do some small runs of shirts from the screen printer to check for quality and to have some initial stock on hand. We’ve checked out the printer we’re going to use and we think they do a great job so we don’t anticipate any issues with quality. We’ll probably print 3, possibly 4 different designs, small quantities at first. We really don’t know what the average sizes are. Do the majority of guys wear large and gals wear medium? We really don’t know.

Ordering the same amount of all the shirts doesn’t make sense though. And since we’re starting out, we can’t afford to order a massive amount of all the shirts. With that said, if you know you’re going to buy a shirt, let us know which one you want, male or female, and what size. We’ll make sure we order at least one of your size as long as we’re printing the design you want. If you put in a valid email address, which no one else will ever see, we’ll even email you when we get the shirts in so you can make sure you get one. The average price on the internet seems to be between $18 and $25, so we’re pricing ours at $20 - we may get crafty though.

FNA Cotton, fna

We’ve been working overtime, burning the candle at both end trying to get everything in order so we can launch this company successfully, legally, and without the financial support of any kind of investor. We’re doing all the work ourselves, which means a lot of design work, and a lot of programming work right now. We’ve been getting twisted up dealing with legal stuff, tax forms, shipping software, logistical questions, etc.

We hope to be selling our first design soon, our breast cancer awareness shirt for October, Breast Cancer Awareness month. A nice chunk of the proceeds will go to spreading awareness and finding a cure. We’ll be looking for input on what the second shirt we print should be.
